Nanograin

Nanograin (N-Grain) is a surveillance capability developed by the Nanotech Unit (BRL-15) for the Strategic Intelligence Office. It consists of an aerosolised solution of nanobots programmed to act as sound, optical, and radiation sensors. Once dispersed, the N-Grains stick to all surfaces in the room and establish complete surveillance coverage of the perimeter. N-Grains are virtually undetectable via the vast majority of counter-surveillance methods. Once utilised, N-Grain nanobots can be made to self-destruct undetected to render their technology completely unrecoverable, turning into dust; without intentional deactivation, they will automatically self-destruct on a timer.
