Operation Lighthouse
Operation Lighthouse was a massive, multi-generational Raven operation in cooperation with Metatron, CORE Group, and the government of Great Britain, to map The Island and the Girvan Offshore Science Facility (GOSF) below its surface; and to render the facility safe by slowly cleaning up the site. It took 40 years, concluding in 2260, and experienced numerous setbacks owing from the hazards in the facility. Several new technologies had to be developed over the course of the project to enable its progress. In total, the project cost around U€91.7 trillion.

Raven's propaganda largely positioned Operation Lighthouse as a noble endeavour that would solve the past mistakes of humanity, while other groups saw it as a waste of valuable funding; this led to public opinions over the operation being divided throughout its history. Raven went to great lengths to display the triumph of its completion, with the detonation of the antimatter charges being publicly televised.
History
Phase 1
Phase 1 of the project intended to fully map the accessible extent of the site, identifying environmental and anomalous hazards at the location. It was conducted by Black Research SPIKE teams supported by Dimensional Investigation, Reconnaissance, and Enforcement (DIRE) agents wearing exosuits, and the first action conducted was to establish a safe path down to Exertus and establish a primary camp on Sublevel -230 equipped armaments including Dynamic Containment Array (DCA) forcefields, manifold anchors, and GRID Sentinels for perimeter defence against sapient anomalies such as the Tunneller. The establishment of this base was completed in 2226. New power and communications feeds were ran down from operational infrastructure on the surface for equipment.
Phase 2
Phase 2 of the project involved SPIKE and DIRE agents deploying newly-developed grid control technology in areas identified as exhibiting anomalous activity, slowing beginning to contain the active damage. DIRE slowly pushed down through the Arctarus Sector, dismantling the heavily contaminated containment blocks, and finally reached the Reactus Sector, where the Avernus Cavity Reactor (ACR) sat, still operational. This resulted in a near-7 year stalemate, as Raven developed a solution to safely access the ACR in such a way that would allow it to be shut off. The entropic radiation emitted by the core was at such a high level that any nearby personnel would die instantly, even with thick fractal armour. In 2235, Phase 2 was completed successfully, with the ACR finally being shut off and dismantled.
Phase 3
Phase 3 of the project involved critical evidence and machinery, as well as contaminated objects, being removed from the site to undergo a complete post-mortem analysis by Black Research to determine the exact sequence of events that occurred in the Island Containment Breach. Once all major items were removed and the site was cleared of personnel, Raven deployed an annihilation warhead near the centre of the facility and detonated it. The facility, and island, were completely destroyed, cutting a large spherical trench into the seabed and underlying bedrock below. The ocean rushed in to fill the hole, rendering the ocean as if the island had never been there. A final orbital sweep by Anomaly Detection confirmed no further threats remained at the site, and in 2260 the project was concluded as complete.
