Black Research Laboratory 11 (BRL-11), also known as the Substratics Unit, is a division of Black Research that performs R&D work on substratics, psionics, and Precursor technology. It is one of the most secretive divisions in the department, and Raven as a whole. It has developed several highly classified technologies, including grid control and Excision.
