Inter-Facility Train System

The Inter-Facility Train System (IFTS) is a classified subground Raven train system that connects Black Mountain with other high-security facilities in Northwest Europe. Some of these facilities include the Corey Wall Research Facility, Metatron Exophysics, and the University of Cambridge. Unlike the smaller Black Mountain train system, which operates within the shielded perimeter of The Descent, the sheer size of the IFTS makes it impossible to cover in forcefield shielding, and as such specially armoured and shielded trains are used to transport personnel.
