Operations Command (OPSCOM) is the strategic command division of Calamity Mitigation, and is the primary entity responsible for directing the actions of Calamity Mitigation forces against threats, as well as the general strategic direction of CMI forces during peacetime. It is also responsible for providing threat/risk assessments and emergency response plans for dimensional expeditions, and defines the Calamity Index System (CIS), used to rate the magnitude of calamities. OPSCOM is stationed in Sector D at Black Mountain.
