Raven/Counter-Exoterrorism Unit

The Counter-Exoterrorism (AS-CET) division of Armed Services is responsible for counter-exoterrorism activites across all Coalition nations. It provides proactive security for high-risk locations, i.e. airports, spaceports, train stations, stadiums, and anywhere with gatherings of a large number of people. AS-CET are considered to be a step down from Calamity Mitigation in terms of capabilities, but they still utilise exosuits and heavy weaponry.

Most often, AS-CET teams are concealed, with a visible presence only at security checkpoints; there will be a tactical response force on-site, usually waiting in armoured vehicles outside the venue or in a specially designated room. The allocation of AS-CET assets depends especially upon SIO-derived intelligence and current sector threat levels. An AS-CET allocation will also often provisionally allocate a CMI team for high-risk events, though such teams usually do not have an on-site presence.
