FACILITY ALERT LEVELS

Do you work at a secure Raven facility? Help protect yourself and those around you by familiarising yourself with the common Facility Alert Levels (FALs), as well as how to respond to them. If you have any queries, please contact a Raven Facility Protection Division (RFPD) officer. Note that any alert in the Sigma Unit automatically disables Immobilisation Countermeasures (ICs) to allow personnel to evacuate to designated hardpoints.

RED
HOSTILE ATTACK

Code Red signifies an ongoing attack perpetrated by a hostile party. In a Code Red, the facility automatically enters external lockdown, and/or internal lockdown if the threat is internal.

You should:

  • Remain in your current sector, provided it is safe to do so.
  • If the threat is nearby, take shelter behind blast doors and place the doors in lockdown.
  • Notify RFPD via PDA if you have information on the position or location of the threat.
  • Never attempt to engage the threat on your own unless authorised to do so.

AMBER
ACTIVE FIRE

Code Amber signifies a fire. The facility architecture is designed to contain fires, and a fire will usually not spread outside its area of origin. Fires can be dangerous due to the oxygen-rich atmosphere of facility areas under life support.

You should:

  • Remain where you are, provided it is safe to do so.
  • Move immediately to a different area if you smell smoke.
  • Do not attempt to fight the fire unless you have no other option.

YELLOW
LIFE SUPPORT FAILURE

Code Yellow signifies a life support failure. Due to the hermetically sealed environment of high-security facility areas, failure of these systems might pose a serious threat to your life.

You should:

  • Move immediately to muster stations and don SCBA gear.
  • Always help yourself before assisting colleagues.
  • Continue to follow instructions from facility command.

If you are not affected by hazardous atmospheres, please make every effort to assist your colleagues.

PURPLE
CBRN THREAT

Code Purple signifies a chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear (CBRN) threat. Information on the nature of the threat will be provided in the alert, and you should act accordingly.

You should:

  • Follow all instructions in the announcement.
  • Move immediately to muster stations and don SCBA gear, if necessary.
  • Not touch, ingest, or inhale fumes from unknown substances or organisms.
  • Immediately seek medical aid if you come into contact with the threat.

NAVY
INFOSECURITY THREAT

Code Navy signifies an information security threat. This is a security incident where restricted, classified, or compartmented information is at risk of disclosure to unauthorised parties, with a high likelihood to affect operational activities.

You should:

  • Immediately cease discussions regarding sensitive information, regardless of the area.
  • Remove your badge from the terminal if you are at a desk.
  • Cooperate with facility security in identifying unknown individuals.
  • Remain vigilant at all times and await further instructions.

TEAL
NANOSECURITY THREAT

Code Teal signifies a nanosecurity threat. This is a hazard where autonomous nanobots are inside the facility, posing both a physical risk to personnel and an information security risk.

You should:

  • Immediately follow the directions given to you via PDA to hardened shelters.
  • Follow standard information destruction procedures if your area becomes compromised.
  • Not touch the threat under any circumstances.
  • Immediately seek medical aid if you come into contact with the threat.

BLACK
EXOSECURITY THREAT

Code Black signifies an exosecurity threat, such as an adversary utilising exophysical weapons or the presence of an un-contained sapient anomaly.

You should:

  • Immediately follow the directions given to you via PDA to hardened shelters.
  • Notify RFPD via PDA if you have information on the position or location of the threat.
  • Never attempt to engage the threat on your own unless authorised to do so.
  • Never look at or touch the threat.

WHITE
INFOHAZARD THREAT

Code White signifies an infohazard threat, such as an adversary utilising visual, auditory, or tactile infohazardous weapons within the facility. Specific training on infohazardous threats is provided to all personnel.

You should:

  • Take shelter behind blast doors and place the doors in lockdown.
  • Turn off your PDA, if it is with you, and remove the battery.
  • Utilise the hardware emergency cutoff switches to disable the PA system in your area.
  • Avoid looking at writing, text, and symbols as much as possible, no matter the context.
  • Wait for responders to arrive and authenticate themselves through ILIDAS.

MULTIPLE ALERTS

Multiple alerts may be declared at once. If multiple alerts are declared, announcements will indicate which alert should take priority, and give you specific instructions as to any additional actions that must be taken.

  • Additional alerts may also be declared in succession, with the exclusion of those after CODE WHITE alerts.
  • Alerts after CODE WHITE are NOT TO BE TRUSTED until responders give the all clear in person via ILIDAS.
