Facilities Telemetry Analyst

Facilities Telemetry Analyst is a role in Anomaly Detection. It primarily involves interpreting data feeds from bridge laboratories, including both on-site links to the Closeout Communications System (CCS) and orbital anomaly sensor feeds pointing at the facility. Analysts supervise only one facility at a time, and multiple may be employed simultaneously during especially high risk experiments; the allocation of analysts to facilities is one of the many reasons why experiments must be scheduled in advance. Their primary workplace is The Descent inside Black Mountain.

Analysts have access to two dedicated phones beyond a standard Raven analyst desk phone; these provide direct lines to Technical Systems and Calamity Mitigation respectively. Analysts are trained to act in such a way that the time from alert reception to confirmation and flash response dispatch may be as low as 15 seconds. Analysts work in units of up to 20 and are overseen by a Floor Supervisor.
