Black Mountain/Sector H

Sector H (Hydroponics) contains hydroponics gardens which produce both food and oxygen for the inhabitants of The Descent, which is important, as the underground components of Black Mountain are effectively a hermetically sealed atmospheric environment. Producing their own food also allows Raven to ensure what their personnel ingest is not tampered with, as it is possible to engineer nanobots that manipulate neural architectures when ingested. The sector is primarily located on the middle sublevels, between Sublevels 18 to 32, on the northeast ring of the Descent. As a secondary purpose, the sector is also home to a geothermal power plant, which acts as one of many of the facility's backup power sources.
