ETSSLAD
ETSSLAD (Electrically Targeted Solid State Laser-Based Active Defence) is a surface-to-air laser defence system that works entirely using solid-state optics, making it able to make targeting adjustments near-instantly. It is perfectly suited for defending against hypersonic targets, and provides coverage in a hemispherical shape. ETSSLAD systems have been a key factor in the decline of missile warfare, due to their effectiveness, but are still able to be circumvented by misting systems that create atmospheric blooming.
