Entropic Flashover Bomb
An entropic flashover bomb (EFB) is an extremely destructive and unimaginably dangerous weapon of mass destruction that combines conventional neutron weapons with exophysical isotopes in order to cause damage to manifolds on a large scale. Despite its destructive nature, it is also near-impossible to produce one, due to the difficulty of obtaining, processing, and reacting fresh galraite. EFBs were designed, but never built, by Nevrin. During the failed cleanup of the Dalston Laboratory, Helios Corporation retrieved the weapon's blueprints and a cache of enough spent galraite cores to produce the first EFBs ever detonated, which were used by the Helios Private Military Corps during the London Revolution, and created the Southern Exclusion Zone.
An EFB combines two main components: a capsule of ground-up depleted galraite fuel from a cavity reactor, and a conventional enhanced-radiation neutron bomb. First, the section holding the powder detonates, scattering it across a massive area; secondly, the neutron bomb detonates, hitting the particles with a massive amount of neutrons and catalysing them, creating an entropic radiation "flashover" that "shreds" the surrounding manifolds, permanently destabilising them. The galraite particles contaminate the blast radius and continue to act as lethal hazards, further increasing uninhabitability. Due to the damage to the manifold, the actual damage from the nuclear explosion itself is lessened, which was originally seen as an advantage but in actuality, the effects on reality are far worse.
