Assassination of Jensen Marsh
The Assassination of Jensen Marsh was an incident that occurred in June 2237, where BioCorp's incumbent CEO, Jensen Wickers-Marsh, was assassinated by the Anomaly Rights Coalition using a novel deployment of infohazards during a speech taking place at the Martian Cassini Colony. It was one of the most high-profile public incidents in the early 23rd Century, and touted as one of the largest operational failures of the Strategic Intelligence Office.

During the speech, Jensen stood at a podium in front of two large panel screens that displayed camera feeds to the audience. These screens were hacked, flashing a zero-day infohazard to audience members that incited them to rush to the stage and physically rip apart Jensen. His exosuit-clad personal security team opened fire on the crowd in an attempt to protect him, but they were taken out by snipers using relativistic railguns.
Response
I was standing in the crowd and looked down to check a notification on my PDA when I saw the screens flash. Suddenly, the whole crowd started rushing to the front, knocking me to the ground. When I got back up, people were screaming, and I saw blood dripping from the stage. It was chaos.
The effects of the infohazard were selected to subside after a short amount of time, at which point audience members became cognisant of their actions, prompting a mass hysteria event. Troops from the Corporate Defence Force (CDF) arrived on site almost immediately, but were recalled after an infohazardous threat was confirmed. Calamity Mitigation agents arrived during the next ten minutes and destroyed the screens. Raven crisis aid personnel and paramedics then moved in. Though it was extensive, the ARC snipers managed to evade the subsequent manhunt.
