Site 61

Site 61, nicknamed "the Bloodbank", was a secretive BioCorp facility that sat above the Jastebrac Temple in central Serbia, an ancient structure of the Kruševac Order. Its purpose was to synergise real research and development efforts with ritual activity beneath performed by Anima 71; most of its research revolved around blood. It was the location where much of the wetware computer's blood networking technologies were defined, as well as its more cult-adjacent programs such as its attempt to construct a consciousness-storage bloodchip; however, its most important purpose to the cult was the facility's enablement of its pursuit to construct a "Blood Avatar" with thaumatology, an immortal body made entirely of blood capable of passing through cracks as liquid and assimilating more essence to become even larger and more powerful.
