Coalition Defence Fleet

The Coalition Defence Fleet is a military fleet established by The Coalition and is made up of ships pledged by signatory states of the United Solar Forces Treaty. The fleet was established in response to the Ir'vaki Conflict, but was never actively used due to the sudden activation of the Ir'vaki psionic weapon and the forcible surrender of humanity.

Each state pledges a percentage of their spaceborne military power to the fleet; this is generally 25% during peacetime, but can rise to as much as 95% during wartime. Though fleets are staffed by forces from individual states, they are placed under command of the Coalition's General Secretary.
