Restricted Hardware

Restricted Hardware (RH) is computing hardware that is subject to international arms regulations under the Dimensional Security Accords. Types of restricted hardware include some types of quantum computers, cryptoprocessors, data flow processors, and bulk data analysis equipment that might be used as part of an illegal bridge operation or other DSA violation. It is not classified as such, but there are strict regulations on which organisations may possess Restricted Hardware, and it cannot be sold to countries that are not DSA signatories.
