Dermal Armour

Dermal armour is a type of tight form-fitting armour that is less intrusive than its implanted version, subdermal armour, while maintaining its lightweight nature. It covers the entire body, but usually excludes the head, and its various grades can protect from slashes and stabs all the way up to small arms fire. It is most often used for covert operations and worn under clothing in situations where wearing overt armour would be unacceptable.
