Quantum memory is a quantum computing technology that allows for the storage of qubits. Most quantum memory devices use the magneto-optical glass laser cell design, which is also shared with memory cells utilised by optical computers. Some types of quantum memory cells can be entangled with a pair, meaning the destruction of one set of cells still means the data can be recovered elsewhere. This type of technology is possessed only by the Vertex Network and was used in the construction of Soma cores, meaning even completely destroyed Vertex units are retained as long as the integrity of the personality vault remains intact.
