Strategic Intelligence Office/Unit R-17

SIO Unit R-17, nicknamed the Orphan Sources, is a Strategic Intelligence Office (SIO) field sabotage and assassination unit. It earned its nickname both from the unit's use of radioisotopes and nuclear sabotage in carrying out its missions, as well as the volatile and unpredictable nature of its operatives. Operative codenames are based on nuclear isotopes, i.e. Cobalt-60, Caesium-137, or Lead-209.
