Space Information Services

Space Information Services (SIS) is a spacecom service operated jointly by Arcturus Communications, CORE Infosystems, and Paradigm Comtech. Its purpose is to provide a federated naming system for stations and vessels constantly in motion and the delegation infrastructure to route packets to them. All SIS domains are assigned under the prefix *.sis.scom. Due to their expense, SIS links are not provided by all ISPs and are often only routed to by partner spacecom providers.
