Interdiction Matrix

Interdiction Matrix is an interdiction field system manufactured by Metatron. As a particle-based interdiction system, it is certified at Class 4 of IS-2171-177 for the protection of reality critical areas such as The Labyrinth and the Sigma Unit at Black Mountain. Its detection mode works via a number of embedded panels (called "cells") throughout a facility's walls; these panels both send out particles akin to radar or x-ray and receive them, creating a precise image of the target akin to radar and a three-dimensional map of the secure space. The lethal engagement mode increases the energy of the particles emitted so greatly that the target is effectively vaporised from ablation.
