Robert Connold

Robert Connold is the post-mind wipe version of Elias Harkland. He is a politician and sapient rights campaigner in Great Britain. Though he no longer has the physical or mental prowess he once did as a soldier due to the mind wipe and damage to his body, he still acts to campaign from his desk and at rallies.

History

After Elias Harkland was subjected to Neural Cleaver, he was given his new identity of Robert Connold and repatriated in Great Britain. Injuries sustained by him prior to his capture by Raven left him wheelchair-bound, and though he now had no memories of his prior actions, he continued to be a hated figure by many, even though he no longer understood why. Over the years, he was worn down further and further until he began to learn humility and respect. He started to become a genuinely good person, fighting to improve the standards of living in Great Britain.
