Terminal Threat/Nightmare on Enceladus

From Calamity Wiki

Nightmare on Enceladus was horror-themed and the first campaign released for Terminal Threat, with the goal of leaving a space station alive while being subjected to a number of hazardous scenarios and challenges under strict time controls. The space station, known as the Enceladus II, was modelled after a real-world station known as the Versa Research Habitat. One of the first challenges is where a so called “vacuum engine” fails on a transport craft and the player must both avoid being sucked into it and prevent it from colliding with the station at high velocity, which would breach the hull and immediately pull them out into space.

The final challenge puts the player against a terrifying animalistic anomalous entity, which is looking for them as they work to ready their escape method from the station, fixing launch systems before a timer runs out. The player effectively has no prior information about the system they need to fix, and needs to use in-game information to extrapolate how to solve it. Against time, the player also has to do extremely finicky things like getting into a spacesuit. If a player ever sees the creature, it’s already too late, as it knows about them the instant they make eye contact. Its true form cannot be captured on video outside of the BCI, ensuring it stays a surprise for new players.
