Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso (LNGS) is an underground research centre. Situated beneath the Gran Sasso mountain in Italy, it is one of the largest and most respected IRTO-accredited scientific institutions on Earth, and an active bridge laboratory. It is operated by the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN).
