Furnomaly
Furnomaly is humanity’s largest furry convention, taking place regularly at the Furnomaly Complex, a purpose-built, arcology-sized convention centre in Hellas City, Mars. It is themed after anthropomorphic anomalies and real anomalous phenomena such as entropic radiation and manifold distortion. It features one of the most diverse attendee bases across humanity, with everything from students and blue-collar industrial workers to network engineers, exophysics researchers, corporate executives of some of humanity's most powerful corporations, and even Raven operatives. Average attendance at the convention is around 50-60 million people, with the convention complex always at capacity. The convention has historically been implicated in numerous controversies and newsworthy events over its 70-year-plus lifespan, including the sale of classified technology at the auction, rumours of actual sapient anomalies attending the convention, and unauthorised bongpelzistas taking place on the roof. It proudly holds the title of being the only furry convention to the modern day to be subjected to a Calamity Mitigation raid, even if short-lived.
