Cetacean Incursion

The Cetacean Incursion was a highly disruptive, short-lived dimensional incursion with an epicentre off the coast of Washington DC in the North Atlantic Ocean, taking place in late 2181. Hundreds of very large sperm whales with unusual entropic properties appeared after being transported in from a distant dimension, while electromagnetic activity from the disruption created a hurricane, both of which forced the city and its surrounding areas to be evacuated. It was one of the first incursions to severely impact the North American region, and fuelled American and Canadian public fear into anomalous activity.

The event was brought to a close approximately three days later, after FEMA technicians with the assistance of Raven installed portable building-sized manifold anchors along the coastline. The whales themselves were transported to a top-secret Black Research marine habitat for further study, though publicly they were stated to have been returned to their source.
