The TfL Raceway was a highly experimental transportation system developed in the 2020s in a partnership between Transport for London and Küiser Laboratories. Each car would only accommodate one individual, which traversed tracks made of steel tubes akin to a metal rollercoaster at extremely high speeds. The tracks would curve and even fling the car over gaps and go through a series of extremely vertical areas where other tracks were, sometimes even twisting around in loops. The entire system was inertia-driven and there were no motors on the cars.

The system was designed to "increase the density and freedom of the underground system, while adding the missing element of fun", as claimed by its inventor, but its extreme nature combined with the high g-forces made it completely unsuitable for almost all commuters, and it was incapable of accommodating anyone with a physical disability. It was discontinued less than a week after it opened due to many of these concerns combined with fears of a devastating crash, which were not unfounded. After its closure, much of its steel structure was left in place, with its official conversion into an art installation.
