IRTO Siberia/Main Facility/Sublevel -37

Sublevel -37 is a sublevel of the Main Facility. It contains a physics experiment dating from the 2070s that was abandoned during an early stage of construction. It was originally intended to siphon off exotic particles from the bridge generator far above in order to determine the properties of the particles, but became unnecessary after CERN beat Russia to the punch. The sublevel is filled with rooms with support brackets missing machines, bare pipe flanges (including a shielded pipe marked "particle feed from main generator"), control rooms with empty panels, and empty equipment racks. It is also the lowest accessible sublevel before the decommissioned "deep level" floors dating from the 1970s.
