The Technocracy of Avalon is a technocratic, semi-socialist and partially closed city-state based around Avalon City, built from the ruins of Augusta, ME which was destroyed by nuclear weapons during the Last Stand War. It is a member of the New American Union and sits in close proximity to the Silent Zone. It is unique for featuring its own Department of Anomalous Investigation, similar to the Department for Exophysics of the Thames Republic.
