Dimensional Physics
Dimensional physics is a branch of exophysics which relates to the study of dimensions and travelling between them using bridges. The first theories surrounding the field were developed at the University of Cambridge during the late 1900s by Dr. Josie Galray, who later went on to join Nevrin and build the first bridge generator prototype.
One of the most lucrative scientific fields within humanity, massive amounts of funding are poured into it constantly; scientific research into alternate dimensions aims to solve some of the species' energy crises, while dimensional mining attempts to solve the Resource Crisis. It is also simultaneously the most dangerous; the threat of manifold distortion and dimensional incursions has led to the establishment of a regulatory body known as Raven with immense powers.
