RACryptor
RACryptor is a line of Rainstorm Access Control (RAC) hardware quantum cryptography modules manufactured by Metatron. As opposed to Hardline, RACryptor is intended for corporations and governments not affiliated with Raven, and only supports up to RAC-II. It is export controlled to signatories of the Dimensional Security Accords. Unlike Hardline, it does not possess an explosive self destruct system, but it does integrate a standard intrusion mesh that renders it unusable if its internals are tampered with. RACryptor is also used to protect the lowest classifications of Raven/IRTO information, such as Alpha (Unclassified) and Delta (Official).
Instead of using Red Tokens and Keying Directive Loaders (KDLs) to perform keying operations like Hardline, RACryptor uses public, unclassified standards for keying operations, allowing keying to be performed by any attached computer. RACryptor modules also lack the rigid control plane and data plane separation seen in Hardline, though they do still isolate the RED and BLACK sides for EMSEC.
