Exon Aes'os is an anthro created as the result of a secret BioCorp experiment to grow a member of the reptilian Ir'vaki alien species from modified DNA, intended to enhance its psionic abilities in order to create an anomalous biological superweapon. Originally kept prisoner by BioCorp for experimentation, xe broke free and escaped in the late 2170s. Xe is the leader of the Anomaly Rights Coalition, and fights against Raven to establish rights for anomalous lifeforms like xemselves.
Creation
Exon was created by BioCorp at the company's secretive Site 18 Research Facility in 2159, building on both knowledge gained from dissecting the stranded Ir'vaki diplomats and knowledge that the company had acquired regarding the relationship between entropics and substratics; the same process from which the Selerian Horror was created. They had partially acquired knowledge of this from their previous custody of the entity, which escaped from their containment nearly three decades prior.
BioCorp took Ir'vaki stem cells from the diplomats, modified them with the latest in their gene editing technology, and then implanted them into an artificial womb. The cells were grown in an environment of complete saturation in entropic radiation, causing Exon to develop xer natively powerful substratic capabilities. Exon was kept in containment and experimented on throughout xer childhood, with no knowledge of the culture of xer species.
Personality
Exon is extremely smart and cunning, practicing excellent tradecraft. Xe has mastered the art of context switching, acting as a ruthless, utilitarian revolutionary leader in one setting whilst retaining the ability to act with compassion towards xer fellow anomalies in another. Xe cares immensely about all ARC members, working to ensure xer safety. Xe is also not afraid of sacrifice, willing to give up xer life for the lives of xer fellow anomalies if necessary.
Towards the direct perpetrators of xer oppression, xe is often cruel. Xe takes pleasure in killing and eating them, often making them suffer as punishment for the suffering they caused xem and xer fellow anomalies. Towards those with less power - cogs in the machines - xer is less cruel, but still doesn’t hesitate to take their lives if they are in the way of ARC’s goals.
Within ARC, Exon is openly poly, and spends time in relationships with multiple other anomalies. Xe is very sexually open, and sits on the very weird end of the spectrum in terms of kink, a pattern commonly seen in ARC due to its roots in queer and biopunk culture.
Design
Exon is a tall, imposing reptilian. Xer body is covered by dark purple scales with a metallic sheen, as well as bioluminescent purple accents. Xey have slitted eyes with iridescent, colour-changing irises, and a lizard-like tail with a sharp, bladed metallic tip.
Due to xer innate Ir'vaki physiology, xey possess innate psionic powers, the ability to sense and manipulate electromagnetic fields, and rapid regeneration from physical injury. Ir'vaki also subside on both organic and metallic diets, integrating the latter as armour into xer bodies.
Relations
Exon is one of the highest threats catalogued by Raven due to xer powers and motivations, masterminding the attack that forced the self-destruction of the Wilhelm Schmitz Research Facility and single-handedly eliminating a squad of elite Calamity Mitigation (CMI) operatives. Xe also has a personal rivalry with Cypher, an elite CMI synthetic who managed to greatly wound xem during the attack.
