Shoeput
Shoeput is a sport that involves participants wearing a loose-fitting shoe and then attempting to throw it as far as possible by swiftly moving the leg so it slides off at the same time as it slides off the foot. It is a sport that heavily depends on the legs, stressing muscles such as the quads, hamstrings, gluteus maximus, and core. The feet themselves are also important in ensuring a precise angle of launch.
Besides classic shoeput, precision shoeput is a variant where the goal is not distance, but precision. Athletes instead aim for small baskets and try to land the shoe inside. Versus shoeput is another variant where two players stand a certain distance apart from one another while being prohibited from moving from their spot, and attempt to hit each other in the face with their shoes.
