The Vector Transport System was an experimental high-speed train system conceptualised by the company Richard & Stein during the Technology Craze in the early 2000s United Kingdom. It was another system trialled by Transport for London for a short period of time before being discontinued due to both safety and cost considerations.

The system revolved around the concept of small independent passenger carriages, each with their own power units, that could link together to form a train. On passenger command via a panel in the wall, the entire train could split apart to allow individual carriages to take different routes, even at speeds up to 200mph. This was only possible due to a computer controlled signalling system with built-in interlocks to prevent collisions.
