The Palace of Westminster (now known as the Westminster Museum) was the location of the United Kingdom parliament prior to 2045, when it partially burned down due to a fire that started in the basement boiler room, primarily stemming from a lack of a robust maintenance and safety culture. In the present day, post London Revolution, it has been partially rebuilt with a glass roof replacing the collapsed part of the structure and converted into a museum about the revolution, the events that led up to it and the establishment of the Thames Republic as an independent power. It is located in Central London. <-- 2026-05-03 15:38:49.298745+00:00 -->
