Template:Quantitative metre

This template can be used to illustrate the metric structure of quantitative metres.

Usage

The template uses a set of letters (abdlp) to express various prosodic symbols according to the following table:

Inserted letter	Symbol generated	Meaning
a	⏒	anceps
b	⏑	breve
d	⏔	divisible long
l	‒	long
p	⏖	pyrrhichius

Spaces and other characters will be ignored.
