Template:Change parameter

File:Test Template Info-Icon - Version (2).svg Template documentation

This template maps one parameter name to another, but omits the parameter entirely if it's blank. Its first instance in a series must be prefixed with a pipe, and it must always be substituted. Its purpose is to convert transclusions of one template to another's.

{{Change parameter|{{{old parameter|}}}|new parameter name|default=a default value}}
