Dipper 2

From Calamity Wiki

Dipper 2 is a rollercoaster located at Clarks Summit Park in Scranton, PA. It is the most extreme rollercoaster on Earth, exposing riders to up to 20 Gs of acceleration. It is named and themed after The Dipper, a now-abandoned rollercoaster located in the uninhabitable Silent Zone infamous for its own extreme nature. The original Dipper had trains pass through a real abandoned underground research facility with real biological horrors; Dipper 2 substitutes this for a fake, but convincing, replica.

Because of the Dipper 2’s extreme G-forces, non-augmented organics are not permitted to ride. Synthetics and organics with reinforced skeletons must prove they are capable of withstanding said forces before being allowed to board. On-site medics are present to deal with injuries, which occur frequently. All participants sign a waiver acknowledging the risk of severe injury and death. The Dipper 2 has the highest fatality rate of all amusement park rides on Earth.

Culture

The Dipper 2 has built its own reputation that sits alongside that of its predecessor. Many from all over the system with something to prove visit the park just to be able to say they rode the Dipper and survived.
