Cybervisor
Appearance
Cybervisor or CYVIS is a cybernetic augmentation developed by Sakura Cybernetics that replaces the entire face and some of the head with a semi-opaque tinted polycarbonate visor with an integrated display capable of showing expressions. The technology was originally popular with burn victims who lost a large amount of facial tissue and/or their eyes. Due to its radical nature, early adopters were mostly anthros, and anthros continue to be the most popular demographic for the augments. Later during the PRISM program, the visor design was integrated as an option into Class C fully-synthetic bodies.
