IRTO Siberia/Physics Power Plant
Appearance
The Physics Power Plant (PPP) is a fusion power plant within the IRTO Siberia complex that directly supplies power to the complex’s bridge generator, as well as to other assorted physics experiments. Built in the late 21st century during the construction of the bridge laboratory, it features three tokamak-style fusion reactors, each with a power output of 40GWe, for a theoretical maximum output of 120GWe. The plant is equipped with modernised superconducting feeds to deliver power directly to the pulse capacitor banks inside the Main Facility. As the PPP is very expensive to operate, during periods of bridge inactivity, it is normally shut down or ran at a reduced capacity and the Research Nuclear Plant is instead relied upon.
