Nuriootpa
Appearance
Nuriootpa (Aboriginal for "meeting place") is a large populated area within the Barossa district of Adelaide located in the Barossa Valley, with a population of 71,305 as of 2100. It is connected to the wider Adelaide CityMetro, which has expanded with the urbanisation and development of the areas surrounding Adelaide during the 21st Century.
The industrialisation of the town came with the construction of a large component production plant for Hopper Thermal Solutions in the early 2040s, a company aiming to solve many of Australia's building thermoregulatory problems in the wake of the Climate Crisis. The wine industry still remains an important part of the area's culture, even if no longer its prime source of income.
