Mars

Mars is the fourth planet from the sun in the Solar System and a settled planet that is one of the largest drivers of the Coalition's economy, second only to Earth. It is primarily occupied by the Central Martian Government and the Indian Offworld Colonial Administration, however, large private colonies and bases under the Martian Free Trade Union operated by corporations such as Paradigm also play a role. The planet is linked with Phobos, which is a significant transport hub and mining outpost, via a space elevator owned by Paradigm, giving the corporation an effective monopoly over cost-effective cargo transportation.
