An IDAS implant is an electronic identification, authentication, and trust services implant for organics, equivalent to a synthetic Cryptographic Identity Authentication Module (CIAM). Almost all IDAS implants support a treaty-based standard known as Intrinsic Authentication, and some can link with an individual's cybernetic computer for enhanced conscious confirmation (ECC). IDAS implants are issued similarly to national eIDAS cards; in many countries, they can be chosen as an alternative to a plastic card, though due to not all countries having the technology to read them implants many cyborg travellers are still required to carry a physical card.

Within Raven, a variant of IDAS, known as ILIDAS (Integrity-Linked IDAS) is used to defend against infohazards. It links an individual's known good mental state to their cryptographic identity, meaning an individual affected by an active infohazard will fail to authenticate. ILIDAS systems are used by first responders, including RFPD emergency response teams, in order to prove they are not compromised or coerced before individuals in shelters will release blast door lockdowns; they are also used at the higher Raven classification levels as a check on personnel mental integrity before they are allowed into high-security areas such as the Sigma Unit. They can operate in two modes; one where the integrity assertion is performed offline on board the IDAS chip, and one where the raw data is signed and sent to a server that then performs the assertion. Online is used for high-security checkpoints, while offline is used for all other scenarios, including emergency response.
