The Darkest Sun

The Darkest Sun was a Star-class battlecruiser which acted as the flagship of Blackstar Operations. It was the heart of the PMC's offensive operations. Originally constructed by CORE Heavy Industries at the Cassini Central Shipyards on Mars for the Coalition Defence Fleet, it featured two CORE "Lumin" fusion reactors, Paradigm "Kestrel" ionised-plasma voidspace thrusters, and a pure antimatter pulse propulsion system for near-lightspeed travel manufactured by Metatron. The cruiser was hijacked by Blackstar on its first maiden voyage to Starbase Kennedy in the Alpha Centurai system; it was later fitted with a Phantom Hammer orbital antimatter cannon stolen by Blackstar from Metatron Weapon Systems on Titan.
