The AJ-300 is an automatic jet injector engineered by Clare Biomedical that is designed specifically for delivering micro implants. It features an integrated ultrasound and laser guidance system to ensure correct placement of the implant with minimal damage to surrounding tissues. The device is known to be very reliable and serviceable, and it is used by many medical organisations across humanity. The starting cost of an AJ-300 is approximately U€3000.

Because of the AJ-300’s integrated guidance system, it may be used by any individual, not only a doctor or nurse; however, it is good practice for a medical professional to at least verify a successful implantation. Additionally, for the guidance features to work, an installation profile (referred to as a stencil) must be developed and uploaded to the device ahead of time, which determines the placement of the implant within the designated tissues. If this is not present, it can only be operated in manual mode.
