Northbrook Polytechnic

The Northbrook Polytechnic is a prestigious non-profit college in Northbrook, Lancashire, funded by Metatron as both a way to train new generations of dimensional researchers and also act as a testing ground for much of the company's technology that could be applied to the education sector. The college was home to a prototype of Metatron's facility portal system for a short time, which was swiftly removed after the Northbrook Portal Disaster (2255) resulted in the tragic deaths of several students.

The site is also home to a SIGMA-classified Raven installation, known as The Labyrinth, located nearly a kilometre below the college building. Though is is sealed and permanently inaccessible, the college houses a small, restricted annex used by appropriately cleared individuals to communicate with labyrinth research personnel using information-sterile holographic calling.
