Pocket dimensions are a type of dimension that differs completely from its parent universe's reality strata, but still in most cases retains that universe's physical laws. Examples include The Ether and the Entropic Plane. When a pocket dimension is accessed from a certain manifold, it acts as a unique "instance" to that manifold, preventing it from acting as an effective shortcut between two manifolds.
