The Northern European International Zone (NEIZ) is a sovereign territory in Northwest Europe bordering Great Britain established by the Einstein-Rosen Accords. It houses the International Centre for Dimensional Research (ICDR) and Black Mountain, as well as several other regulatory offices and supporting self-contained infrastructure designed to survive an attack. Transit into the zone is strictly controlled, and only possible for those with official business under the Accords. Due to its small size, the majority of people who work within it reside in accommodation in the surrounding International Scientific Enclave.
