Helios Rail Group

The Helios Rail Group (HRG) is a subsidiary of the Helios Corporation that specialises in rail transport, headquartered in Manchester, Great Britain. It is split into four business units: Technologies, dedicated to signalling and scheduling systems; Electrification, Rolling Stock, and Ticketing and Customer Services. It is a competitor to CORE Heavy Industries Mobility and Parametrik Rolling Stock. Steward Smartrak was a notable signalling system developed by the Rail Group Technologies business unit, which was deployed throughout much of Great Britain and parts of the European Union.
