One of the largest megacorporations in the Solar System, Metatron Laboratories (stock ticker MTX) develops technology for the scientific field of exophysics, as well as security and weapon systems designed to protect against and combat anomalous threats. The company is known by many as one of the most influential research organisations of the modern day and even as the spiritual successor to Küiser Laboratories. It is one of the only private corporations that possesses the authority to build and operate certain types of restricted exophysical technology.

Metatron's largest customer is the public sector, supplying its reality manipulation and defence hardware to Raven and the Interdimensional Research Treaty Organisation (IRTO). It also provides technology to several governments and corporations, and holds a monopoly on critical singularity-based communication technologies which it licenses out. It is part of the military-industrial-scientific complex supporting the needs of the most powerful organisations in the world, acting simultaneously as arms dealer, systems integrator, and technology R&D titan.
Etymology
Metatron’s name and logo is a reference to both the complex manifold of the Metatron cube, and also alludes to their creation of technology that makes feats believable only of religious depictions possible. Its tagline, "seeing is not believing", alludes to the metaphysical machinery behind reality.
History
Metatron was founded in 2114 by Sirus Syn, the current CEO, along with the current leads of Spatial Physics, Manifold Research, and Tactical Systems - Dr. Imogen Connolly, Dr. Mason Pritchard, and Dr. Finley Reid. Over the subsequent decades, Metatron would expand significantly as a company and received huge amounts of investment from government organisations - creating the Manifold Anchor for IRTO as well as branching into the field of defence to cater to Raven's needs as exosecurity threats grew.
Areas of business
Metatron’s products are oriented towards large corporations and governments, and are almost always extremely expensive. Dynamic Containment Array (DCA), one of Metatron’s most successful products, is known to be the most resilient forcefield technology in the world, while Metatron Ion Units deliver small-scale intra-dimensional portal linking. Metatron-manufactured manifold anchors are critical in the mitigation of manifold distortion by Raven and IRTO.
The company provides specialist electronic and mechanical access control systems, including the Hardline and RACryptor series of Rainstorm Access Control (RAC) cryptographic modules, as well as the PALIS permissive action link system. Metatron also operates a weapons development division, including Guided-Ray Irradiator (GRID), a neutral particle beam-based, anti-personnel directed energy weapon, Interdiction Matrix, an IFF and area denial system for protected areas, and Phantom Hammer, an annihilation-based energy superweapon designed for use on spacecraft and orbital defence platforms.
Divisions
Metatron's Particle Physics department, with its Containment Systems and Directed Energy Systems divisions, engineers forcefield technology such as DCA and the exotic particle beam systems for singularity generation; while its Exophysics department with the Manifold Dynamics, Dimensional Geometry and Dimensional Stabilisation divisions engineers solutions for bridge laboratories, builds ion unit portal systems, and grid control systems.
Its Tactical Systems department, with the Weapons Development, Sensors & Fire Control, Tactical Computing, Tactical Communications, and Electronic Countermeasures divisions fulfil a wide variety of arms development roles, developing systems such as Phantom Hammer, Oblivion, Guided-Ray Irradiator, and Interdiction Matrix. The company's Cryptosystems department, with Access Control, Cryptography & COMSEC, and Quantum Algorithms divisions builds hardened cryptographic solutions for Coalition governments and Raven.
The company's Power Systems department, with its wide range of divisions including Nuclear Energy Systems, Non-Nuclear Energy Systems, Power Transfer & Distribution, and Superconductor Development, represents Metatron's wide role in power generation and distribution throughout humanity, from singularity reactors to superconductor-based extreme high voltage distribution infrastructure.
Metatron operates its own Corporate Security (CorpSec) division, effectively an internally-operated PMC, which reduces its needs to contract out its security operations to outside PMCs. It also receives protective security assistance from Raven itself due to its position as a critical defence contractor and member of the military-industrial-scientific complex.
Metatron also previously operated a massive Robotics division, which was dedicated to building the Anomaly Defence Grid (the Vertex Network). After the Vertex Revolution and the destruction of both Metatron Robotics North and Deepswell-1, with the loss of all project files, funding was completely pulled from the division by the board and it was quickly dissolved.
