The Darkest Sun

The Darkest Sun was a Star-class battlecruiser which acted as the flagship of Blackstar Operations. It was the heart of the PMC's offensive operations. Originally constructed by CORE Heavy Industries at the Cassini Central Shipyards on Mars for the Coalition Defence Fleet, it featured two CORE "Lumin" fusion reactors, Paradigm "Kestrel" ionised-plasma voidspace thrusters, and an antimatter jet propulsion system manufactured by Metatron for near-lightspeed travel. The cruiser was hijacked by Blackstar on its maiden voyage to Starbase Kennedy in the Alpha Centurai system; it was later fitted with a Phantom Hammer orbital antimatter cannon stolen by Blackstar from Metatron Weapon Systems on Titan.
